Rafting on Elsa river

We’re in the Elsa River Park, in Colle di Val d’Elsa – but this river is more than just a watercourse. It’s a living presence, fed by crystal-clear springs at “Le Vene” and warm thermal waters at “Le Caldane.”

The adventure kicks off at the foot of the Diborrato waterfall, where the roar of the water sets the pace. From there, the route veers off the well-known Sentierelsa and slips into a hidden world—wilder, greener, more surprising. A corridor of water and leaves that feels more like a jungle than Tuscany.

Onboard a raft, the group moves as one. Coordination, rhythm, and the thrill of letting the current guide you—it’s all part of the ride, as you navigate the Elsa’s natural limestone pools.

And then, you dive. Because resisting is pointless. The turquoise waters of the Elsa are calling, and the only way to truly know them is to jump right in.
